ReplyDeleteMy favorite chickens are Jubilee Orpingtons! Love the gentle giants that they are! Hope to win!
ReplyDeleteLove the Orpingtons... would love to win - chicken math...
ReplyDeletemy favorite Chickens are Ameraucanas. light Sussex pink egg layers, French black copper marans........
ReplyDeleteOf the breeds we have we love our black copper marans the best (even though she doesnt meet the breed standard) But we really love all your birds especially the FBCMs, chocolate orpingtons, and the olive eggers.
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are the Americans, light Sussex and marans. I would love to add some more of these breeds to my flock :)
ReplyDeleteGotta love autofill. Ameraucanas. :)
DeleteMy favorite breed is the Black copper Marans...because of there dark eggs! I would like any chicks from you!
ReplyDeleteok trying this again!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite are Barred Rocks. I would love to win more Barred Rocks to add to my flock!
I am partial to the Orpingtons, but would love any of your birds :-)
ReplyDeletemy favorites are the ameraucana. i like the different egg colors so the marans and ameraucana are my first choice but the marans are a little aggressive and the ameraucana will hop on the picnic table and sit with me.
ReplyDeleteI like two breeds does that count? one is orpingtons & australorp..... have 9 in my present flock all mixed. Thank you for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to win. My favorite chickens are silkies, seramas, and polish(bantam)... I'd love to have some Millie Fluer(D'uccle), Ameraucana(blue-eggers) and the rumpless cuties.
ReplyDeleteMy first love were the lavender orps - that's what made me want to get chickens in the first place! And I would love to try some BC Marans and Ameraucanas - but I do love each of my 9 girls for their various personalities (just like my 2 human children!) :) We're getting a bigger coop in the next two weeks, and have plenty of space for the old chicken-math :)
ReplyDeleteMy flock is getting up there, everyone around our place says we are running a retirement home for chickens! Seriously, even the last straight run I ordered I had to find homes for the extra roos because I couldn't bring myself to dispatch them!
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are BCM and Olive Eggers because of the neat egg colors. I would like to win because I have struck out so far with those breeds. Of the eight straight run BCM and OE I got from a local breeder this spring, only one lays olive eggs. As far as temperament goes, I would say that Ameraucanas are my favorite. Thanks a lot for the opportunity to win.
ReplyDeleteI really love Ameraucanas but also adore my Orps! They are so sweet and gentle. My grandbabies love helping with the chores and gathering eggs. Since they live with us I would love for them to learn how to raise their own flock to learn good stewardship! My grandbabies are 3 and 2.....thank you for this opportunity! (didn't see my first entry so if this is a repeat... Sorry)
ReplyDeleteI love all the colors of the Wyandottes, and recently received some Isbar eggs that I love the color of. Our grand baby has some eggs in the eggubator and she loves the egg white from our splash CA White and loves to sing to it and watch the chick (which she has already named Fionna), move to our singing.
ReplyDeleteLove my marans, great girls always laying me chocolate surprises, would love to get some Orpingtons but never pickey about good chicks, always good to do business with Angie and her family.
ReplyDeleteI suppose my favorite breed is the Americauna, because of all the color variations (eggs and chickens both), but Orpingtons and Welsummers are very beautiful also. My parents have a mixed flock with sex-links, welsummers, barred rocks, and americaunas, and a whole lot of various bantams. My goal is to one day have a very unique and colorful free range flock running around the yard. At the moment I have an empty chicken coop ready and waiting, and was going to wait until spring before starting my flock, but this would work out perfectly since the chicks are a variety of breeds! Hopefully after a few generations of crossing easter eggers and the other varieties, there will be some very beautiful and unique chickens running around.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have some baby chicks to raise!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite chicken is an old English Game Rooster but I love Silkie hens too. I would love to raise a box of chicks and it would bring new breeding stock into my flock. I like learning about different breeds by raising them myself as catalog description are not 100% true to life. Just like people say roosters can be mean and aggresive and yet none that I have raised have proved to be.

ReplyDeleteSpeckled Sussex was my favorite breed when we had our urban farm. We just moved onto a 25 acre property (renting the house on 1.5+ acres) will be starting a new flock, so I'd love to win! I found your site recently and planned to order chicks in the coming months. You have beautiful breeds!
ReplyDeleteLove Ameraucanas! I hope I can win a box so u can show my neices and nephew a few new breeds of chickens, they are always so excited to come out to the farm and see the babies
ReplyDeleteLove Orpington and Wyandotte! Have a couple of each (buff and silver laced respectively). Just added a couple copper marans as well! Would love some lavender Orpington and your blue red laced Wyandotte's are gorgeous! Chicken math had certainly taken off at my small hobby farm!
